Description The Argentine cruiser ARA General Belgrano (C-4) underway. Her appearance is identical to the time when she was decommissioned by the U.S. Navy as USS Phoenix (CL-46), in July 1946. Only the catapults were removed. She was first commissioned as ARA Diecisete de Octubre (C-4) on 17 October 1951 and renamed General Belgrano in 1956.
