Summary edit

Description
English: The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga (CV-14) being pushed by tugboats at Naval Air Station Hampton Roads, Virgina (USA) on 30 May 1944, shortly after delivery to the Navy by Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company. She is wearing camouflage Measure 33, Design 10A. Note the cut out space on the port side of the flight deck forward of the elevator where a third Mk 37 gun director should have been placed. It was omitted from the design as its antenna protruded above the level of the flight deck.
