Description The U.S. Navy Destroyer escort USS Tills (DE-748) underway, circa 1965. She was one of six ships which participated in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire (USA), "Seacoast Salute to the Naval Reserve" in honour of the USNR 50th anniversary. Tills had been used to train reservists since 1950, averaging at least 12 cruises per year until she was decommissioned on 23 September 1968.
