VARNA, Bulgaria (March 13, 2014) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) pulls into Varna, Bulgaria, following a multi-lateral exercise with Romania and Bulgaria as part of theater security cooperation efforts. Truxtun is deployed as part of the George H. W. Bush Carrier Strike Group and is on a scheduled deployment supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th fleet area of responsibility.
