Description
English: The U.S. Navy Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS West Virginia (SSBN-736) departs Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia (USA), following an engineering refueling overhaul. The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) is visible in a dry dock in the background, under going a 14-month Drydocking Planned Incremental Availability (DPIA) since 10 September 2013. Also visible are the decommissioned submarine tenders USS Simon Lake (AS-33), opposite West Virginia, and USS McKee (AS-41).
