English: Westbound Citrus County Road 490 (West Homosassa Trail) as it approaches the intersection with US Route 19-98 (hidden SR 55) in Homosassa Springs, Florida. The junction sign might seem like one of Florida's leftover U.S. Color route shields made between 1956 and 1993, but if that were the case, the US 19 segment would be red with white numbers. CR 490 does not terminate here and in fact joins southbound US 19-98 in a second hidden overlap until the intersection with West Yulee Drive. This shot was taken on foot in August 2005, because previous attempts to take this while driving have proven to be a failure. Today, a sign telling motorists about a broken continuation of CR 490 follows this one. West Homosassa Trail continues beyond US 19-98 as an unmarked local street between two shopping centers before becoming a dead end street.
