English: Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7)Apr. 20, 2002 -- An F/A-18C “Hornet” assigned to the "Wildcats" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Three One (VFA-131) banks right to return to the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) at the end of a combat mission over Afghanistan. Kennedy and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) are deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
