English: (Jul. 21, 2002)-- U.S. Navy F-14D “Tomcat” fighter aircraft from the "Tomcatters" of Fighter Squadron 31 (VF-31) conduct midair refueling operations with an Air Force KC-10A “Extender”, while transiting cross-country to join aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing One Four (CVW-14). CVW-14 is embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72)and has recently departed on a regularly scheduled deployment to conduct missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
