Description
English: At sea aboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68) Sep. 14, 2002 -- An F/A-18A “Hornet” assigned to the “Warhawks” of Strike Fighter Squadron Nine Seven (VFA-97) passes over the ship's flight deck after being waved-off on approach. This is the first time that a full airwing has embarked aboard Nimitz since 1997. Nimitz is undergoing Tailored Ship's Training Availability (TSTA) Two and Three off the coast of California.
