Description
English: At sea aboard USS George Washington (CVN 73) Nov. 28, 2002 -- Aviation Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Michael Fox, a member of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Two, Detachment Two Four (EODMU 2 Det. 24) stands at anchor as members of EODMU 10 Detachment Souda Bay rappel from an SH-60 "Seahawk" assigned to the "Red Lions" of Helicoper Anti-submarine Squadron Fifteen (HS-15) down to the ship's flight deck. The “Red Lions” are currently embarked aboard the George Washington as part of Carrier Air Wing Seventeen (CVW-17). George Washington and CVW-17 are nearing the end of a scheduled six-month deployment after completing combat missions in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Southern Watch.
