English: At sea aboard USS O'Bannon (DD 987) Feb. 21, 2003 -- Chief Yeoman Duane Gowins from Melbourne, Fla., determines other ships' bearings using a telescopic alidade during combat maneuvering exercises. O'Bannon is currently participating in UNITAS 44-03, a multi-national exercise consisting of naval forces from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, Peru, Venezuela, and hosted by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command.
