English: Arabian Sea (Mar. 3, 2003) -- A Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) craft on approach to the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) to transfer needed supplies and personnel. LCAC’s travel up to 40 knots and are the work horse for heavy equipment movement and U.S. Marine amphibious operations. Kearsarge is on deployment operating in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
