English: Naval Air Station North Island, Calif. (Mar. 3, 2003) -- In a time-honored naval tradition, crewmembers assigned to USS Nimitz (CVN 68) man the rails while getting underway from her homeport in San Diego, Calif. Nimitz, her battle group, Cruiser Destroyer Group Five, and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) are deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
