English: Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily (Mar. 27, 2003) -- Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella Hazardous Materials response team trainees, Equipment Operator Constructionman Craig Ries, left, and Construction Mechanic Constructionman Patrick Plevil, work to tighten a “jubilee” patch on a pipe trainer. The leak represented a level-8 sulfuric acid spill. The training is part of regular Hazardous Materials training administered by representatives from the Naval Occupational Safety & Health (NAVOSH) Norfolk, Va.
