English: The Arabian Gulf (Apr. 4, 2003) -- A Plane Captain assigned to the ‘Tomcatters’ of Fighter Squadron Thirty One (VF-31) wipes down the cockpit canopy of an F-14D Tomcat aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and Carrier Air Wing Fourteen (CVW-14) are deployed conducting combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
