English: The Arabian Gulf (Apr. 25, 2003) -- Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class James R. Stauffer assigned to Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Eight (HC-8) jumps off the back end of a CH-46 “Sea Knight” helicopter, as part of a search and rescue training exercise. Kearsarge is deployed conducting missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
