English: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (May 21, 2003) -- A Sailor plays “Taps” to honor those killed 59 years ago in Hawaii’s West Loch tragedy when explosions of unknown origin killed 163, injured 396, and sunk eight ships. More than two dozen ammunition ships were moored in the loch preparing for an attack on Saipan when the deadly chain reaction occurred.
