Description
English: Al Hillah, Iraq (May 28, 2003) -- U.S. Marines spend some quiet time at the end of the day to enjoy a sunset on the banks of the Euphrates river at a camp near Al Hillah. Marines and Navy Seabees are restoring a local jail in the area. The jail is being restored with the help of Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Fifteen (NMCB-15) who are forward deployed to Iraq and working on various construction projects aimed at helping Iraqi citizens in the effort to rebuild municipal facilities in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
