English: Luzon, Philippines - American and Filipino Marines and Sailors arrive at Ternate Beach, Philippines, as part of Blue/Green Workups, a bi-annual joint training exercise designed to develop joint cooperation and create one cohesive fighting force. USS Essex (LHD 2) Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is conducting the exercise with their Filipino counterparts, affording the Sailors and Marines the chance to work together.
