Summary edit

Description
English: During an abandon ship drill aboard USS Coronado (AGF 11), Chief Master-at-Arms Vic Glaviano, from New Orleans, La. explains to crewmembers assigned to his life raft how to survive in the water. Coronado, currently underway in the Pacific Ocean, is serving as the temporary command ship for U.S. Seventh Fleet while USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) is in a scheduled dry dock maintenance period. Besides serving as a temporary command ship, Coronado is also experimenting with a unique manning concept. The crew is made up of MSC civilian mariners and a small group of Sailors, designed to replace the 481 Sailors normally assigned to Coronado. The combined MSC/Navy crew of 263, and some augmentees from the Seventh Fleet flagship Blue Ridge, support the embarked Seventh Fleet staff.
