Stephen Maynard, accepts a scrapbook documenting the ship's port visit to Zhanjiang, China. Director, Command Department Office, People's Liberation Army (Navy) of China South Sea Fleet, Capt. Wen Rulang, left, presented the book as a gift of friendship. Blue Ridge spent two days in China strengthening diplomatic ties. The Sailors, Marines and embarked staff from Blue Ridge experienced the local culture and interacted with their counterparts from the People's Liberation Army (Navy) during a two-day port visit.
