English: Keller, Texas (Apr. 1, 2005) - Keller High School students watch a video presentation on the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Team, the "Blue Angels" during a Navy Week Dallas visit by "Blue Angel" pilot Lt. Cmdr. John Saccomando and mechanic Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Rad Samuels. Saccomando and Samuels addressed the student body about life with the "Blue Angels" and benefits and career opportunities offered by the Navy and Marine Corps. The presentation was one of many Navy-sponsored events in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area during Navy Week Dallas. Twenty such weeks are planned this year in cities throughout the U.S., arranged by the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO). NAVCO is a new unit tasked with enhancing the Navy's brand image in areas with limited exposure to the Navy. U.S. Navy photo by Journalist 1st Class Dave Kaylor (RELEASED) |
