English: Wilmington, N.C. (Apr. 16, 2005) – U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Matthew C. Shortal, Left Wing pilot assigned to the U.S. Navy fight demonstration team, the "Blue Angels," taxis his F/A-18A Hornet back to the flight line after performing their show at the 2005 Coastal Carolina Air Show in Wilmington, N.C. The Blue Angels fly the F/A-18A Hornet, performing approximately 30 maneuvers during the aerial demonstration lasting over an hour. This year's air show showcased civilian and military aircraft from the Nation's armed forces, which provided many flight demonstrations and static displays.
