English: San Diego, Calif. (April 27, 2005) - Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Luigi A. Caprio, left, learns how to operate the rescue hoist aboard a MH-60S Seahawk helicopter from his instructor, Aviation Structures Mechanic 1st Class Brent McCammon, during a search and rescue training flight near Naval Air Station North Island, Calif. Both Sailors are assigned to the "Merlins" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Three (HSC-3). Established on April 1, 2005, HSC-3 is the single-site Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) for the Navy's Sea Combat squadrons operating the MH-60S Seahawk helicopters. As the Navy's only MH-60S FRS, HSC-3 trains all pilots and aircrew reporting to MH-60S squadrons worldwide. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Scott Taylor (RELEASED)
