English: San Diego, Calif. (April 30, 2005) - Firefighters assigned to Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar Fire Department use drip torches to start a controlled burn on a fire break on board MCAS Miramar. Various Federal fire departments, along with units from the San Diego Fire Department, assisted in the burn. MCAS Miramar conducts periodic controlled burns to prevent wild fires.
