Description
English: Sasebo, Japan (May 17, 2005) – The amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) arrives at Sasebo, Japan for a routine port visit. This port call gives the San Diego based ship’s company a chance to enjoy the sights and culture of the area. Boxer is currently deployed and is scheduled to participate in Exercise Talisman Sabre, a combined exercise between U.S. and Australian forces in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
