The City of Shimoda, Japan, welcomed Sailors from USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) to celebrate the sixty sixth annual Black Ship Festival commemorating the arrival of Commodore Matthew Perry one hundred and fifty one years ago, opening Japan to the west.
