Description
English: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (May 30, 2005) - The San Diego-based Military Sealift Command (MSC) hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) enters Pearl Harbor escorted by the MWR Ladies Hoiokahi Canoe Club and the Honolulu Pearl Canoe Club. Mercy provided humanitarian assistance and focused medical care to the residents of Papua New Guinea. Mercy is en route to its homeport after taking part in Operation Unified Assistance in support of tsunami and earthquake relief operations in Indonesia.
