English: Tasman Sea (June 1, 2005) - Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Arvin Ilaccabrera, left, cuts the heaving line away from the refueling line, during an underway replenishment with the amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) and Royal Australian Navy auxiliary oiler replenishment ship HMAS Success (AOR 304). The replenishment at sea (RAS) with the Success is the first in a series of co-operative events scheduled for Blue Ridge and the embarked 7th Fleet staff as they participate in Talisman Saber. The exercise is jointly sponsored by the U.S. Pacific Command and Australian Defense Force Joint Operations Command, and designed to train both 7th Fleet staff and Australian Joint Operations staff as a designated Combined Task Force (CTF) headquarters. Tasman Sea, Southern Pacific Ocean (June 1, 2005) -- Boatswain's Mate 2nd (Surface Warfare) Class Arvin Ilaccabrera cuts the hiving line away from the refueling line, during an underway replenishment between USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) and HMAS Success (AOR 304). The replenishment at sea with the Australian vessel is the first in a series of co-operative events scheduled for Blue Ridge and the embarked Seventh Fleet staff as they participate in Talisman Saber. Talisman Saber is jointly sponsored by the U.S. Pacific Command and Australian Defense Force Joint Operations Command, and designed to train the U.S. Seventh Fleet commander's staff and Australian Joint Operations staff as a designated Combined Task Force (CTF) headquarters. This exercise will focus on crisis Action planning and execution of contingency response operations. U.S. Pacific Command units and Australian forces will conduct land, sea and air training throughout the training area. More than 11,000 U.S. and 6,000 Australian personnel will participate in the military training exercise Talisman Saber 05 in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area near Rockhampton, Australia, in June 2005.
