Description
English: Persian Gulf (June 9, 2005) - A Sailor assigned to the "Providers" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Three Zero (VRC-30) secures a C-2A Greyhound to the flight deck using tie-down chains following the aircraft's landing aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is currently deployed conducting operations in support of multi-national forces in Iraq and maritime security operations in order to set the conditions for security and stability in the region.
