Robert Trammell, assigned to Mobile Mine Assembly Unit Ten (MOMAU-10), right, explains to Royal Thai Navy (RTN) Sailors the procedures for connecting the safe/arming device on a MK-62 250-pound inert mine during a demonstration at the RTN's Mine Preparation Shop. The mine will be used during the Thailand phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2005. CARAT is a regularly scheduled series of bilateral military training exercises with several Southeast Asia nations designed to enhance the interoperability of the respective sea services.
