English: Persian Gulf (July 29, 2005) - Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Jeffrey Harmon of Simi Valley, Calif., assigned to the "Black Aces" of Strike Fighter Squadron Four One (VFA-41) gives the ready signal to an F/A-18F Super Hornet before launch aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Strike Group is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment and is participating in Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations.
