English: Gulf of Guinea (Oct. 20, 2005) - A U.S. Navy Landing Craft, Utility (LCU), assigned to the dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44), carries Landing Amphibious Recovery Crafts (LARC) and personnel back to the ship during the West African Training Cruise 06. The WATC enhances security cooperation and fosters new partnerships between the United States, North Atlantic Treaty Organization partners and the participating West African nations of Ghana, Senegal, Guinea and Morocco through real-world training and engagement opportunities.
