English: Pacific Ocean (Nov. 7, 2005) – A F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the “Black Aces” of Strike Fighter Squadron Four One (VFA-41), launches off the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during the Carrier Wing Eleven (CVW-11) end of deployment fly-off. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is currently returning from a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate Airman Natalia E.
