English: Persian Gulf (Nov. 11, 2005) – A U.S. Navy Sailor mans a .50 caliber machine gun mount on the Khawr Al Amaya Oil Terminal (KAAOT) during sunset. The terminal, located off the coast of Iraq, is one of two major platforms that export the majority of the country's oil. Coalition forces have been training Iraqi personnel in force protection and search and seizure operations in effort to return control of the terminals to Iraq.
