Description
English: Atlantic Ocean (Jan. 23, 2006) - Airman Leo Park adds water to a sample of JP-5 fuel while performing a Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII) test aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Since aircraft can fly at high altitudes, the FSII test is used to measures the freezing point of the fuel. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate 3rd Class Christopher B.
