Divers and other crew members from USS Safeguard (ARS 50) assisted the Naval Historical Center (NHC) and The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery (TIGHAR) in a scientific survey of two submerged World War II aircraft in order to provide information to one-day salvage them. |
