English: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Feb. 14, 2007) - Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Frederick Marshall, assigned to guided missile destroyer USS Hopper (DDG 70), gets hands-on information technology (IT) training. During a two-week period in February, five members of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) provided IT training for Sailors stationed on board Pearl Harbor-based ships and submarines. The refresher training provided by the Navy reservists of SPAWAR ensures mission readiness for the Sailors who are responsible for operating and maintaining communications equipment within their respective operations departments.
