English: SOUTH CHINA SEA (April 4, 2007) - Following a successful general quarters drill aboard the Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), Senior Chief Sonar Technician (Surface) Daniel Boyer, from San Diego, debriefs fellow members of the ship’s Damage Control Training Team (DCTT) in the hangar bay. Training evolutions are an important part of shipboard life; they ensure Sailors maintain proficiency in critical mission areas such as firefighting and damage control. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is underway in the Pacific Ocean on a surge deployment in support of U.S. military operations in the Western Pacific.
