English: POINT LOMA, Calif. (April 12, 2007) - A marine mammal handler feeds a dolphin assigned to the U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program during a presentation in Point Loma, Calif. The program studies the military use of bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions to perform tasks such as ship and harbor protection, mine detection and clearance, and equipment recovery.
