(June 4, 2007) - Dr. Gene Griessman delivers the Gettysburg Address while portraying Abraham Lincoln before members of the crew on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Griessman, an author, former television host, and professional Lincoln impersonator is visiting Lincoln this week to meet the crew of the warship that bears Lincoln's name and to perform his unique brand of motivational speaking. Lincoln is moored at Naval Base Kitsap, Bremerton conducting training and preparation for the ship's return to operational status following a shipyard availability period.
