English: PERSIAN GULF (July 15, 2007) – Capt. Michael C. Manazir, commanding officer of USS Nimitz (CVN 68), stands alongside flight deck personnel as an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the "Black Aces" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 41, prepares to launch off nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing 11 are deployed in the 5th Fleet conducting maritime operations and supporting troops participating in the global war on terrorism.
