English: RALEIGH, N.C. (Sept.18, 2008) Gen. James Conway, commandant of the Marine Corps, gives his keynote address during "Conversations with the Country" at the Durham Civic Center. Conversations with the Country brings together a cross-section of American society to openly discuss the future roles of the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard in protecting the homeland and working with global partners to prevent war.
