Description
English: CORONADO, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2008) Former U.S. Navy "beach jumpers" place a wreath in memory of one of their fallen comrades during the 5th annual U.S. Navy Beach Jumpers reunion at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Navy Information Operations Command San Diego hosted the event, which brings together former and retired "beach jumpers" each year to pay respects to their fallen comrades and those among them who have recently passed away. "Beach jumpers" were WWII, Korea and Vietnam U.S. Navy special warfare units, specializing in deception and psychological warfare.
