English: GULF OF OMAN (March 19, 2009) An Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) directs an F/A-18F Super Hornet strike fighter assigned to the "Tomcatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 31 to a catapult during flight operations aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevlet (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevlet and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 8 are operating in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
