English: PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 25, 2009) Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) fight a simulated fire during a general quarters drill. George Washington is the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier and is underway in the western Pacific Ocean on her inaugural summer deployment from Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan.
