English: ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (Oct. 9, 2009) Personnel Specialist 2nd Class Sulay Elescano, left, and Logistics Specialist 1st Class Marlene Armijo, assigned to Navy Operational Support Center (NOSC) Albuquerque, sand and prepare window trim for painting at the Ronald McDonald House on the campus of the University of New Mexico. More than 30 Sailors from the Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Albuquerque (SSN 706), NOSC Albuquerque, Navy Recruiting District Phoenix and the University of New Mexico Navy ROTC, painted, repaired fixtures, and landscaped the grounds at the Ronald McDonald House and the nearby Casa Esperanza supporting Albuquerque Navy Week, one of 21 Navy Weeks planned across America for 2009. Navy Weeks are designed to showcase the investment Americans have made in their Navy and increase awareness in metropolitan areas that do not have a significant Navy presence.
