English: PATUXENT RIVER, Md. (April 22, 2010) An F/A-18F Super Hornet strike fighter, dubbed the "Green Hornet," is fueled with a 50/50 blend of biofuel and conventional fuel at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md. before a supersonic test flight. The flight drew hundreds of onlookers, including Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus, who has made research, development, and increased use of alternative fuels a priority for the Department of the Navy.
