Description
English: INGLESIDE, Texas (April 23, 2010) Mike Carrell, chairman of the Port Commission for the Port of Corpus Christi Authority, left, and Capt. Leland Taylor, commanding officer of Naval Station Ingleside, Texas, hold up a key to the base during the Reversion Ceremony, a ceremony marking the closure of Naval Station Ingleside. The port will take ownership of the base when it closes April 30. Naval Station Ingleside was slated for closure as part of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission.
