Description
English: 5th FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (July 11, 2010) Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Christopher Spicerward, from Horseshoe Bend, Ark., assigned to the Gunslingers of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 105, cleans the gun blast diffuser of an F/A-18E Super Hornet in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Ordnancemen are responsible for the cleanliness and proper operation of aircraft weapons systems. VFA-105 is deployed as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
